"The props in this photograph, except for my basket, belong to this lovely little girl. The hat and her friend, Little Bear, came with her to the studio. It is so important that children feel comfortable while being photographed, and having their 'own props' is the key. Notice the little toes. I really don't like to cover up children's feet in a casual portrait like this one."
